Janowsky

In the summer of 2013 I visited Lisa at Terracana Ranch Resort. She introduced me to acrylic paints, I had an interest but had never applied a brush to canvas. Watching Lisa in her studio created an excitement that has grown with every project I undertake. My first subject was a Chukar - land birds abundant around Kamloops where I live. I continue to add new colours and textures to my repertoire as I learn more from other artists. Hours magically fly by as I disappear into my subjects. It is storytelling in a very sensual and interpretive manner that allows each viewer their own opinion. I love that.When asked 'what is it ?' my only response is 'whatever you want it to be.' - Debbie
